Maglev Technology President Obama outlined his future energy policy, by addressing the need to have cars that rely less on oil. He said by the next decade he wants less dependency on the pump. Americans are not going to adopt the new technologies as fast, but I think by transitioning them to the new technology will make it easier for them to adopt. One innovative technology I think that could change the whole industry is magnetic levitation or "maglev". Maglev is already used in some Asian countries for their high speed rail. The technology is based on magnets, which uses the polar opposites to push and pull the train. If we could somehow incorporate this technology into the wheels of the vehicles or the vehicle itself it my change the whole industry.
CPAC Conference Its that magic time of the year when all the conservative Republicans gather and start talking smack about the President, big government, and how taxes are evil. It is the same talk that lost them the last election, so they are actually doing America favor by putting up this circus act. I don't know why the media gives so much attention to people that have very few followers. They don't speak for me, all they feed on is on people that have hate for President Obama.

Public Education

Education is a priority for the United States if it wants to hold on to being the most powerful country in the world. Education is what opens the mind to new possibilities by filling it with information, by doing this we enhance points of view, create new technologies, and have more understanding of the world. That is why the United States has to understand that by investing in education we are not only going to remain the most powerful, but we are also going to remain the most influential in the world.
Deficit Hypocrisy Why is it that Republicans are always saying that Democrats like to spend money. When actually they are the ones who spend the tax payers money, by going to war, paying for a prescription drug bill that was not paid for, giving tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans. Now that the deficit is out of control the Democrats have to be the one who are fiscally conservative. Here are two graphs showing Federal spending levels of Democratic Presidents and Republican Presidents, which party looks more fiscally conservative.
Magazine Sizes Rachel Maddow from MSNBC goes into detail on why we need to limit the sizes of assault rifle magazines. I didn't think the magazines mattered, but it does make a difference on the amount of time it takes for help to arrive. Here is the video.

A New Look Into The Future America has been dependent on oil for a long time and companies have taken advantage of that addiction. Lets face it everyday we have to put gas in our car to get to work, go to school, or run errands. But oil is not going to be around forever and I'm starting to think that a lot of oil companies are starting to see that. It took a long time for them to notice, but as the population booms, the need for gas booms. That is why I think President Barack Obamas "Energy Security Trust" pictured on the bottom would be the answer to getting rid of oil in our cars once and for all.
Representative Alan Grayson One of my favorite Representatives is Alan Grayson, he tells it like he sees it. He will blast Republicans on issues that affect Americans. Here are some of my favorite videos.

This video is old but its what made him famous.

Republican Bubble

Republicans have always been for the wealthiest Americans, they try to give the wealthiest tax breaks, deregulate industries, which would make companies more money because why would a CEO and shareholder give a dam about the average American worker. Most of these people live in a bubble once they become Republicans they get fed that Government is bad propaganda.

Congressional Punishment

We elect our congressional representatives to fight for what we need in our cities and counties and to create new laws. We also elect them on the ideology they campaign on. But we don't elect them to be divisive figures in Congress. When congressional ideology gets in the way of bettering America and Americans pay the price for something not getting done, then it is time to pass a law that punishes congressional inactivity. I would like a law that creates a panel in in congress that has no party affiliation that negotiates Democratic and Republican bills. If some congressional representatives have a problem with the bill they have to give a reason why and give information on how it would affect their constituents. If the excuse to block the bill doesn't make sense, then he has no authority to vote no. If he does vote no on the bill and others vote no and Americans start losing jobs because the bill didn't pass, Congressional pay should go down by law.
Senator Feinstein Takes On Ted Cruz Senator Feinstein took on Senator Ted Cruz on the assault rifle ban. He tried to compare the 2nd amendment right to the first amendment right by saying that if we outlawed certain types of guns then would we be able to outlaw certain types of books based on the first amendment. Well she go mad and let him have it, here is the video.
Opposite of Walmart Costco sells pretty much the same products that Sams Club does, but when it comes to the company itself its completely different. Read this article.
Presidential Blooper Every President has had something funny happen to them, this is a video I found that shows some of those funny moments.
Texas War on Planned Parent Hood Since Texas defunded Planned Parent Hood we are starting to see the affects. Many women are not able to find reasonable birth control, cancer screenings, and counseling. Thanks to the Republicans there is going to be 23,760 unplanned pregnancies and Medicaid to cover all this children is going to cost the state 273 million dollars. For a state that doesn't believe in handouts, its sure going to feel the pain in the future.

Progressive Budget The progressive democratic caucus unveiled their own counter proposal to the Republicans budget plan and it didn't get much attention. The Democratic budget plan makes more sense because it has spending cuts and revenue. While the Republican budget takes a big chunk from the middle class. Here is a comparison of the two plans, which one looks more fair?

Funny Video

Saw this video had to post it. Never jump in a puddle unless you know the depth.
Who is For The People Senator Ted Cruz the freshmen senator of Texas, is at it again. He wants to repeal Obamacare, does he really think we are that stupid. Wow, the Republicans really know how to get the media going, it infuriates me when they speak in that, I care about America tone, when you know deep down inside they could care less. This guy has no emotion when he speaks, in my opinion I think he has a personal hatred for President Obama. Notice the difference between Senator Ted Cruz and Elizabeth Warren, tell me who truly fights for the people.

Enough With Obstruction The President of the United States has a lot of nominations to make once he is elected President. He has cabinet positions he has to fill, he has to put judges in place, and he has to make sure he puts the right people in very powerful institutions, like the federal reserve, FBI, and the newly created consumer protection agency. In order to get into a lot of those positions many of the nominees have to go through the senate. The senate looks at the background and question the nominee and then they have a vote to confirm him or her. Ever since Obama got elected President, he has faced a lot of obstruction from Republican Senators because they have the power to filibuster. Many of these Republican filibusters are not because the nominee isn't qualified but for personal reasons.
Cyber Security Panel Technology is everywhere around us, and it seems like our Congress members are lagging behind. Some of the Congress members have been in office way to long and have no understanding of the internet. Most Americans use the internet on a daily basis, and have much more understanding than some of these congress members. So I think its time for Congress to create a cyber panel that is made up of congressional members who have a really good understanding of computers, internet, networking, wifi, and cyber security. But they should also have a big understanding of an open internet, because that leads to innovation and jobs for the future.

Public or Private Healthcare What kind of healthcare would you rather have a public run system or a private system. Having a public run system depends on everybody paying into the government and holding elected officials accountable if corruption does happen. The positive side to having the government on your side is you won't be denied coverage and your costs are going to be low. Now the private system on the other hand is all about profits, agents get paid really good money to deny coverage. A lot of the companies are not held accountable because its business, and to them profits come first. The American people can't elect the CEO of a health insurance company so how are we going to hold those people accountable.
Taking the Higher Road President Obama has tried to reach out to Republicans to try to come to a compromise on the future issues that are going to affect the nation. But some of these Republicans are using this as a way to get publicity and in my opinion I don't think they are ever going to give a chance to the President.
Bad President Comedians Dream President Bush was a bad President he got us into two wars, ran up the deficit, and made us a lot of enemies around the world. But to comedians he was gold when it came to punch lines, all you had to do was watch some of his speeches. Here is some videos.
New Deal, Great Society The Democrats who controlled congress and the Presidential office during 1933-1936 and 1964-1969 revitalized the United States for the better. They had bold ideas that helped transform this nation, and made the American public have faith in Government. President Franklin D. Roosevelt who was President from 1933 to 1945, gave America the New Deal, which created programs to deal with the relief for the unemployed and poor, reform for the financial system, and recovery of the economy. President Lyndon B. Johnson who was President from 1963 to 1969, gave America the Great Society, which took on poverty, civil rights, education, and health care. Americans today rely on a lot of this programs to get by, but what saddens me about it is that they have no idea where they came from. A lot of these folks rely on Government but they also hate on the Government because elected officials demonize that same government they work for. So in my opinion, if people are going to apply for Government programs their should be labels specifying when it was signed and who passed it into law so people have an understanding of why its important to vote.
Legalize Everything and Tax Whats Bad For You Many Americans are going to do what they want to do, if they want to do drugs, they are going to do drugs, if they want to eat fast food, they are going to eat fast food. We all know that some drugs are bad for you and that some food is really unhealthy for you. But for the United States Government to try to impose its will on the people has backfired and created an industry that tries to take advantage of a system that doesn't have to be taxed or regulated, I'm not talking about the food industry but the drug industry. We should create a system in which we legalize all drugs but tax the drugs to their full limit, and then use that tax money to create centers that help with drug problems and fund the police. Same thing with the fast food industry many people eat unhealthy, so its no surprise when they get sick or obese. But if we taxed the fast food industry and use that tax money to pay for obesity research or to give tax breaks to those who sell healthier foods then we might start seeing a change in America.

A Lobbyist Law We all know lobbyists control Washington DC, they get big money from big corporations to make sure lawmakers don't pass bills that affect them or to get a defense contract that makes them a healthy profit. Many lawmakers who leave office usually become lobbyists because they understand the inner workings of Congress. Big corporations have money and they can afford a lobbyist, but most of the American people don't have that kind of money. The Government belongs to the people and not corporations, so I think their should be a law that holds lawmakers accountable for dealing with lobbyists and fine corporations and former lawmakers for trying to bribe Congress.

War on Women

Republicans try to deny that they are not against women but statistics show other wise. Just the fact that they are going after Planned Parent Hood shows how much they care. Some of those lawmakers should take a tour of the facility before they defund it.
Paul Ryan Hate on Obamacare Paul Ryan doesn't hide the fact that he hates Obamacare, he trashes it every chance he gets. He wants to get rid of obamacare and replace it with his own voucher program, which would give senior citizens a government subsidy for entering the private market.

Education On Taxes

Taxes are an essential part of the United States, it helps keep our Government running and helps with essential programs like defense, health care, and infrastructure. What I don't understand is why they don't teach taxes in school, that should be a high school essential, especially for the job market.
Internet Innovation The future is the internet, without it many companies would cease to exist. So I don't understand why the United States who founded the internet won't invest in it. This is a scary article that I think our politicians should look at Click Here.
Who Has The Power As a Democrat I am infuriated at the fact that Republicans think they could control the nation, even though they have 33 percent of the power in Washington. The other 66 percent goes to to the Democrats, they control the Senate and the Presidency. So why are we letting them get so much air time, it makes no sense, every time I turn on the TV I see some Republican bashing the President.
