Trickle Down Economics The Republican way of bringing up the economy is by giving tax breaks to the wealthy and hoping that the money will trickle down to the rest of us makes no sense. The wealthy or what the Republicans call the job creators didn't trickle down anything when the economy was in trouble in 2008. In fact we had to help some of those job creators stay alive by giving them tax payer money.

Infrastructure Need The United States has always had the best infrastructure in world and it still does, but lately the nation hasn't invested that much on infrastructure. We have to start investing in new technologies to update our communications, internet, roads, and power grid. Investing in America is the best way to strengthen the economy and the middle class and the nation will be more solid because of it.

Presidential Material Senator Elizabeth Warren has proven herself to be Presidential material the way she took on the bank regulators, and the Federal Reserve Chairman says a lot about who she is fighting for. Hillary Clinton better keep an eye on her because she might have competition when the primaries come up.

Freedom Of Information Freedom of information is a must for our civil society to understand where we came from, create and share new ideas, and build on those ideas. That is why I don't understand why Aaron Swartz was prosecuted so unfairly, Aaron was all about freedom of information and for the Justice Department to target him so unfairly is not right. Why is it the the Justice Department went after him the way they did and not a banker from Wall Street that did damage to our economy.

Here We Go Again Bill O'Reilly is one of the most ignorant Republicans in the media. Just because he has a show, he tries to enforce his views on people and if you don't like it, your a pin head. Kirsten Powers a democratic strategist for Fox news appeared on the show with facts about the Presidents offer to Republicans that would cut medicare and medicaid and she even told him it was on the Whitehouse.gov website. Is Bill O'Reilly Deaf Bill O'Reilly recently got into it with Alan Colmes because O'Reilly wanted Colmes to name a specific spending program that the President would cut to negotiate with Republicans. Alan Colmes without hesitation gave him an answer that the President would make cuts to medicare and medicaid. But O'Reilly pretended not to hear anything and he called Colmes a liar and Colmes was not happy about that. When you put a lot of emotion into the news like Bill O'Reilly has your not a journalist you are another conservative air head. Watch the video.

Tours Canceled The White House tours have been cancelled do to the sequester cuts. I think that't just dumb, because the White House belongs to the people. For us not to be able to tour the Executive office destroys the point of going to Washington DC to tour the capital.
