American Dream America has always been a nation of immigrants, its what makes us unique. Ever since the first English settlers arrived in the new land they became part of it, the English accent went away and their was a new sense of American patriotism. That is why America had to break away from England, it did not want to be ruled by a nation that was thousands of miles away. Once the small nation got its independence, North western and Eastern Europeans made the their way to the new land.Some Europeans became Americans as soon as they touched land, they worked hard to live the American dream and provide for their family. America was made possible because people were tired of having to live under persecution, or having to live in a nation that gave you no chances to climb up the ladder. That is why America has to have immigrants, because those immigrants have dreams and with those dreams come businesses, and with those businesses comes a stronger economy.
